FQC test technician

FQC Test Technician
Location: St Athan
Salary: £30k - £35k
Job Type: Initially 3 months with strong likelihood to be extended

We are looking for an experienced FQC Test Technician to join our team and ensure our technology products meet the required quality and performance standards before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out functional and final quality testing of displays, computers, network switches and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure and test operating systems and software.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software faults.
• Record test results and report issues accurately.
• Re-test equipment following repairs or corrective action.
• Follow technical procedures and quality standards.

About You

• Previous experience in IT testing, hardware testing, quality control or technical support.
• Understanding of computer operating systems
• Good understanding of computer hardware and peripherals.
• Confident troubleshooting technical issues.
• Methodical, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Hands-on approach to testing and fault-finding.
