Graduate Hardware Engineer

We are looking for a talented Graduate Hardware / Embedded Engineer to join an innovative engineering team working on the design and development of advanced electronic products.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with a strong academic background in Electronics or a related discipline who is keen to develop their career across both hardware and embedded software.

You will work alongside experienced electronic and mechanical engineers, gaining hands-on experience across the full development process and contributing to technically challenging projects.

The Role

  • Design and develop electronic hardware for new products.
  • Develop embedded software to run on electronic hardware.
  • Work closely with electronic and mechanical engineers throughout the development process.
  • Support the development, testing and refinement of new products.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Contribute to the design and development of innovative products from concept through to completion.
  • Develop your knowledge across both hardware and embedded software.
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality, reliability and performance.
  • Work as part of a collaborative engineering team and contribute ideas for new and improved designs.

Skills & Experience

Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline. (Minimum 2:1)

Strong academic background with a genuine interest in electronics and embedded systems.

Some knowledge of C programming would be advantageous.

Knowledge or interest in robotics would be beneficial.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Passionate about high-quality engineering and design.

A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
