Job Description

OverviewWe are currently supporting an international technology business based in Abingdon who have a vacancy for a Financial Accountant to join them on a long-term contract basis. They are a fantastic business with a thriving and fun culture. They go into the office 3 days per week.The contract is anticipated to run for 12 months and could even become permanent.

This position would suit someone with significant accounting experience to date, specifically across reconciliations and inter-company reporting. You will be qualified by experience (QBE) or be working towards a formal accounting qualification.ResponsibilitiesProduce accurate monthly management accountsPreparation of balance sheet reconciliations, including deferred revenueInter-company and bank reconciliationsReview Goods Received not Invoiced (GRNI) and liaise with other departments and business divisions to clear queries.Assist in the preparation of VAT and Intrastat filings.Support and underlying schedules for statutory financial statementsSupport the year end audit processYou WillBe qualified by experience or actively studying towards a professional accounting qualificationHave significant accounting exposure to a large multi-entity businessHave a thorough understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS or US GAAPBe happy to commit to a long-term contractAvailable to travel to Abingdon 3 days a weekTPBN1_UKTJ
