Computer Science Teacher - Independent School Group - East & West Sussex (January 2026

Our client, a respected and well-established Independent School Group operating across East and West Sussex, is seeking an inspiring, collaborative and forward-thinking Computer Science Teacher to join their dynamic STEM Faculty from January 2026. This full-time, permanent post offers the opportunity to work across two innovative campuses and engage with an ambitious cohort of students.

• Computer Science Teacher – permanent, full-time

The successful candidate will teach KS3–KS5 Computer Science, developing student expertise in programming, computational theory, digital systems, machine learning concepts and creative digital technologies. Both campuses offer a rich digital curriculum supported by cutting-edge resources and a culture of experimentation.

Students engage in a wide range of extracurricular opportunities including coding societies, robotics engineering, e-sports teams, cyber-security events, app development competitions and interdisciplinary STEAM projects.

• QTS/PGCE with a Computer Science or related degree

• Strong programming knowledge (Python essential; additional languages desirable)

• Confident teaching GCSE and A-Level Computer Science

• Experience leading digital enrichment activities strongly encouraged

• Passion for emerging technologies and STEM innovation

• Willingness to collaborate across campuses and contribute to wider school life
