Senior Technical Operations Specialist/Service Delivery

Location: City of London - Hybrid

Salary: £95,000 - £100,000

Award winning financial institution is seeking a Senior Technical Operations Specialist to cover aspects of Service Delivery, Incident Management, Change Management and Vendor Management. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth delivery of a range of IT services across Europe; it will be a co-ordination role across incident, change and vendor management.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Extensive incident management experience in an investment banking environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes
  • In-depth knowledge of vendor management (on-boarding of new vendors, contract negotiation, key supplier reviews)
  • Excellent knowledge of DORA (Digital Operational resilience Act) and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of change management process within an IT area
  • Ability to work across teams in a collaborative manner.

Responsibilities

  • Management of two London based administrators
  • Responsible for ordering and invoice payment
  • Co-ordination of incident management communication both within the UK and Europe focusing on DORA (Digital Operational resilience Act) regulatory requirements.
  • Production of monthly incident management report
  • Production monthly and quarterly status reports
  • Ongoing vendor management
  • Onboard new suppliers/vendors
  • Regular review with existing suppliers
  • Contract negotiation for IT services
  • Chair review of weekly IT changes affecting Europe and produce weekly change report.
