Snowflake Architect / DBA

Overview

We are looking for a Snowflake Architect / DBA to lead the setup, administration, and optimisation of Snowflake environments. This role is critical in ensuring performance, governance, and cost efficiency across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Snowflake environments
• Design and implement RBAC (roles, privileges, access control)
• Oversee database and schema management
• Configure and monitor resource usage and cost optimisation
• Implement monitoring and observability for queries and warehouses
• Develop documentation, runbooks, and best practices
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new Snowflake features

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Snowflake administration and architecture
• Expertise in RBAC and security models
• Experience with database and schema design
• Knowledge of performance tuning and usage optimisation
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
