Business Systems Analyst
Our client, a leading organisation in the insurance sector, is looking for a proactive and collaborative Business Systems Analyst to join their Manchester-based team. This role is pivotal in connecting technology with business objectives, focusing on enhancing systems, improving workflows, and supporting digital transformation.
This opportunity sits within the direct division, which delivers a wide range of products including professional indemnity, public liability, employers' liability, property, cyber, and more. These are distributed through direct-to-consumer platforms, white-label partners, and digital integrations with broker platforms and insurtechs. Customers span freelancers, consultants, small businesses, and community groups across diverse industries.
The Role: You'll work closely with business users and technical teams to understand requirements, identify process improvements, and help implement effective system solutions.
Key responsibilities include:

Analysing and mapping business processes to identify efficiencies

Gathering, documenting, and prioritising business and technical requirements

Translating requirements into clear functional specifications

Supporting testing, release, and change management processes

Producing user documentation and helping with training and system adoption

Monitoring solution performance and helping to embed continuous improvements
This is a varied role offering involvement in both small enhancements and larger system transformation projects.
What We're Looking For: We're looking for someone with a strong interest in business systems and process improvement, ideally with experience in a commercial, insurance, or financial services setting.
