Salary: Competitive basic - £300,000+ OTE (Uncapped) + Equity

The opportunity

Private equity is a primary growth engine for the business. You will be responsible for building on this momentum by winning new enterprise accounts and managing complex sales cycles.

This is an opportunity for a commercial builder who wants to own a vertical and define the strategy for winning in the private equity market.

What you will be doing

  • New business growth: Identify and secure new partnerships with mid-market and large-cap private equity firms, managing enterprise-level deal values.
  • Strategic account mapping: Identify key stakeholders across portfolio operations, technology, and investment teams to build multi-threaded relationships.
  • Consultative engagement: Lead discovery sessions and demonstrations for senior professionals, translating technical capabilities into clear commercial value for deal teams.
  • Managing complexity: Navigate the full enterprise journey, including security reviews, compliance requirements, and firm-wide implementation plans.
  • Product collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and product teams to share market insights that help shape future features.

What success looks like

Within your first year, you will have built a consistent pipeline and closed a significant volume of new enterprise business. You will be recognised as a trusted advisor to senior private equity professionals and a key contributor to the company’s long-term growth.

What we are looking for

You likely fall into one of two categories:

  1. The enterprise seller: You have a proven track record of selling SaaS, data, or research services into private equity firms and have consistently exceeded high-value targets.
  2. The industry professional: You have a background in private equity or a related advisory field and possess a strong commercial instinct alongside a deep sector network.

In either case, you will need:

  • A hunter mindset with the drive to generate a pipeline from the ground up.
  • The credibility to engage with Managing Directors, CTOs, and Heads of Portfolio Operations.
  • A sharp analytical mind and a genuine interest in how technology is evolving within financial services.
  • A disciplined approach to managing the sales process and maintaining accurate data.
