Sales Development Representative
Location : London (Victoria area) | Hybrid (4 days in the office, 1 day remote)
Salary : £35,000 - £45,000 base salary + £20,000 - £25,000 commission + equity

Our client is a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup building AI-powered operational software that automates manual, high-friction tasks for traditional service-based industries.
This is a dedicated outbound role for a relentless pipeline builder. It is not an environment where you will sit back and wait for inbound leads to drop into your inbox. Instead, you will own the phones, target independent operators, and keep the demo calendar full for the account executive team.

What you will be doing
- Driving high-volume outbound outreach: Managing 40 to 60 quality dials a day, supported by structured email and LinkedIn campaigns, to reach owners and directors.
- Qualifying opportunities rigorously: Moving past gatekeepers to identify real operational pain points, such as missed enquiries and after-hours coverage gaps, and confirming budget and fit.
- Managing seamless handovers: Booking qualified product demonstrations directly onto the account executive's calendar with detailed briefs.
- Refining the sales playbook: Contributing to sequences, objection-handling strategies, and call scripts to help continuously scale the outbound engine.
What we are looking for
- Outbound persistence: You are highly resilient on the phones, view rejection as helpful data, and enjoy the fast pace of high-volume sales.
- SME sales experience: You have a background in business development, sales, or lead generation, ideally targeting independent business owners, property-adjacent firms, or small-to-medium enterprises.
- Curiosity about modern technology: You are comfortable with artificial intelligence and have actively experimented with tools like custom generative models, automation workflows, or prompt engineering in your daily life.
- Commercial numeracy: You can understand a client's business model well enough to calculate potential return on investment and demonstrate financial savings to decision-makers.
- Growth mindset: You thrive in unstructured, fast-moving environments and enjoy taking ownership of your tasks without needing a rigid corporate structure.
