Finance Manager

Location: Stockport - Office-based Salary: £40k

A growing B2B technology services business is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance function and support the next phase of growth.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for day-to-day finance operations, commercial insight, cash flow management and strategic support to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets
• Manage cash flow, payroll and statutory compliance
• Own and optimise Xero and payment systems (including direct debits)
• Improve financial processes, controls and reporting
• Partner with leadership to provide commercial insight and decision support
• Direct line management for 1 person

About You

• AAT Qualified
• Proven experience in people management
• Strong Xero experience (essential)
• Excellent commercial, analytical and cash flow management skills
• Confident leader with a proactive, improvement-focused mindset
• Experience in recurring revenue or B2B services is a plus
