Join Marks Sattin focusing on software engineering and technology appointments. You’ll place mid and senior‐level engineers and technology professionals into permanent and interim roles.

You’ll recruit across areas such as backend and frontend engineering, full‐stack development, cloud and DevOps, platform engineering, software architecture and engineering leadership.

This is a 360 role for a commercially minded recruiter who enjoys owning the full lifecycle – from business development and client management through to delivery – and wants to grow a high‐quality book of business under a reputable, established brand.

As a 360 Recruitment Consultant you will:

Own the full recruitment lifecycle for software engineering roles: role briefing, sourcing, qualification, shortlisting, interview management, offer negotiation and onboarding.

Partner with hiring managers and senior stakeholders (Heads of Change, CIOs/CTOs, Transformation Leads, HR and Talent teams) to act as a trusted adviser.

Develop new business through targeted outreach, market mapping and relationship building, growing your own portfolio.

Manage multiple roles simultaneously, delivering to agreed SLAs and commercial targets while providing a consistently strong candidate experience.

Drive proactive sourcing strategies – headhunting, referrals, database and CRM searches, social recruiting and networking within the software engineering communities.

Provide market intelligence to clients: salary benchmarking, talent availability, competitor insight and advice on role design and hiring strategy.

Hit and exceed billing targets, contributing to both your own earnings and the wider team’s revenue goals.

Support a high‐performance team culture, sharing best practice and, where appropriate, mentoring junior colleagues.

What we’re looking for

At least 2 years’ 360 recruitment experience, ideally within software engineering across perm and/or interim.

Proven success in business development and account growth, with a track record of consistent billings.

Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and build long‐term relationships at senior levels.

Confident, consultative salesperson comfortable with outbound activity, pitching and presenting market insight.

Organised and resilient, able to prioritise and deliver in a fast‐paced, target-driven environment.

Tech‐savvy – experienced in using ATS/CRM platforms, digital sourcing tools and MS Office (or equivalent).
