Tax Technology Senior Manager

We're working with a leading international business looking to bring on board a Senior Manager in Tax Technology. The role sits within the tax team but has a clear mandate: transform how tax is delivered through the smart use of technology.

Reporting to the VP of Tax, you'll be the driving force behind automating and streamlining processes across corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing and beyond. This isn't just about efficiency-it's about embedding new tools, building capability, and helping the business take innovative solutions to market.

You'll be working hand in hand with tax, finance, technology, procurement, IT, product development, suppliers and senior stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver measurable improvements. Alongside this, you'll play a central role in training the team, embedding best practice and raising the profile of tax technology across the group.

The role in brief:

  • Lead the transformation of complex tax processes through automation and tech-enabled solutions.

  • Maintain and enhance the firm's suite of tax technology tools, working with procurement and suppliers to ensure best-in-class systems.

  • Act as the change champion-driving adoption, improving workflows and embedding new ways of working.

  • Partner with stakeholders to make sure solutions align with commercial objectives.

  • Support the scaling of technology-powered tax offerings to service existing clients and open up new markets.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong experience delivering business process automation solutions, ideally in a tax or finance context.

  • Proven understanding of accounting/tax environments and how technology can be applied.

  • Confident communicator with the ability to partner across the business.

  • Continuous improvement mindset-keen to push change forward.

Desirable experience:

  • Exposure to ERP/EPM systems (Hyperion, OneStream, etc.).

  • Knowledge of corporate tax, compliance, reporting, VAT, transfer pricing, CbCR or Pillar Two.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Power Query, VBA, Power BI, Alteryx/Knime, UI Path, Power Automate or AI prompt engineering.

This is a high-impact role with genuine scope to shape how tax technology is delivered, both internally and to clients.
