Associate Game Producer

Join the talented team behind beloved digital adaptations of Monopoly, Cluedo, The Game of Life, Ticket to Ride, Exploding Kittens, and more!

At Marmalade Game Studio, we bring iconic board games to life with creativity, care, and a love for fun — and we’re looking for an Associate Game Producer to support our growing portfolio.

This is a junior production role suited to someone who is organised, collaborative, and ready to take more ownership of live and evolving projects.

The Role

As an Associate Producer at Marmalade, you’ll support the planning and delivery of projects across multiple platforms. You’ll work closely with other producers, project leads, and cross-disciplinary teams to help projects run smoothly and on schedule.

This role is open to junior and mid-level candidates, including those transitioning into production from marketing, publishing, or release-focused roles, who are organised, curious, and eager to grow within a collaborative studio environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of game updates and releases across multiple platforms, with a focus on pre-launch, milestone-driven development
  • Help maintain and evolve project plans, milestones, and roadmaps, with guidance from senior producers and project leads
  • Assist with release and publishing activities, including timelines, submissions, store assets, and coordination with platform partners and licensors
  • Facilitate and support team meetings such as stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Maintain clear task tracking, documentation, and visibility using tools such as ClickUp or JIRA
  • Work closely with Designers, Artists, Programmers, QA, backend teams, and publishing stakeholders to support smooth day-to-day delivery
  • Track risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating when needed
  • Support project leads with scheduling, coordination, and clear communication
  • Contribute ideas to improve production, publishing, and release workflows
  • Communicate progress and updates clearly to internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Some professional experience in a relevant role (e.g. Junior Producer, Assistant Producer, Production Coordinator, Publishing Coordinator, Marketing or Release Operations)
  • An understanding of cross-disciplinary workflows within game development or publishing
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using planning and tracking tools such as ClickUp, JIRA, Google Sheets, or similar
  • Clear and confident communication skills in English
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow in a production role
  • A collaborative attitude and genuine interest in making great games
  • Tech-savvy, with interest in how development, backend systems, publishing, and live support connect
