THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Microsoft Lead, the successful candidate will play a key role in a variety of ongoing transformational projects across the multi-site group. This role offers a huge amount of exposure to modern web and Microsoft technologies, with long-term projects including Enterprise Service Bus integration, platform migration, data visualisation and micro-service roll out using cloud-based technologies.
 
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ongoing project: consolidating internal and external websites from across the group into a single framework, with the goal of creating a more manageable estate.
  • Work closely with the Microsoft Lead to design, develop, and implement strategies for integratingMicrosoft 365 & Dynamics components with existing enterprise applications.
  • Deliver the full lifecycleof integration projects, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring seamless data flow and optimised functionality.
  • Build and maintain custom solutions (using .Net Core 2ReactTypeScriptC#, etc) for Microsoft / Azure environments/services.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, reduce duplication, and improve data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Create and maintain documentation of integration processes, customisations, and best practices.
  • Write clean, well-structured, and testable code that aligns with development standards.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with data privacy, security, and governance
  • Test, and where necessary resolve integration and application issues.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute innovative ideas for the business' digital strategy.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous Azure / Microsoft development experience,
  • Large scale integrations/migrations of core business systems.
  • Building and maintaining websites.
  • Node.js, .Net and JavaScript.
  • Excellent communication skills, and comfortable working within a collaborative environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
DESIRABLE:
  • Data Integration techniques: REST and SOAP APIs, webhooks, SharePoint lists, and/or Dataverse.
  • Integration Technologies: Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and/or Microsoft Graph API.
  • Frameworks: Koa, Tailwind CSS, and/or Nunjucks.
  • Databases/Deployment Tools: Git, Linux, Docker, MongoDB, and/or PostgreSQL
  • Back-end Development: TypeScript, .Net Core 2, and/or C#.
  • Front-end Development: HTMX, CSS, React, Alpine.js, and/or Tailwind.
  • Data warehousing, Enterprise Service Bus.
  • Microsoft certifications such as Power Platform Developer Associate, Microsoft 365 Developer Associate, or equivalent.
  • ITIL environment and multi-site roll out experience.
