Sales Executive - IT B2B

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 pa DOE +

Monthly Commission: OTE £20,000+, uncapped

Location: Nottingham

Our Client: IT Reseller - Technology Industry

B2B sales experience is essential for this role.

Responsible for growing a sales pipeline through an account base of lapsed and transactional spending customers, the successful candidate will strive to build and nurture excellent customer relationships through timely responses to inbound enquiries, whilst identifying growth opportunities to confidently promote additional products and services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead Qualification: Utilising our client’s transactional customer base to identify and quality potential leads.
  • Outbound Sales: Identify opportunities for increased customer spend, delivering outbound calls, emails and social media activity into the lapsed and transactional customer base.
  • Inbound Sales: Responding to any inbound enquires promptly, providing day to day support, ensuring relevant information is provided and customer needs are addressed.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build relationships with potential clients, identifying needs, and providing appropriate IT solutions (hardware, software, services), always delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Targets & KPIs: Maintain an accurate and realistic sales pipeline to achieve/exceed set financial targets and KPIs.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a solid understanding of products, services, & solutions, and stay informed about the latest industry trends & developments.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on the pipeline created and ensure that the CRM is accurate and up to date.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in a B2B Sales, Account Management, or similar role is essential, preferably within the IT or Technology sector.
  • Essential Character Profile: Financially motivated & target driven, proactive, ambitious and resilient with a positive approach to work.
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent written ability, with experience of using CRM systems/tools (Salesforce/Microsoft Dynamics ideally).
  • An interest in technology, with the ability to articulate technical information to non-technical customers.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
