IT Systems Administrator | Server | Abingdon | Hybrid | £46,000pa plus benefits: Our client has been at the forefront of technical innovation for over 50 years and are one of the world’s most innovative manufacturers. Due to growth, they are looking to recruit an IT Systems Administrator who will manage and administer their Infrastructure with a key focus on Windows Servers. You will also be responsible for 3rd Line Support, Backups, and configuring / management of Virtual Machines in VMware, VSphere or Hyper-V.The IT Systems Administrator will be joining this business during an exciting time for IT systems and infrastructure as they merge with another global Quantum manufacturer.The successful IT Systems Administrator will need the following qualification, experience and skills:

• A minimum of 3 years server and systems administration experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and newer and Windows Admin Center for centralized server and system management.
• Experience with configuring and managing virtual machines using VMware, vSphere or Hyper-V.
• Experience with license servers, such as FlexLM, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with backup technologies and verifying backup integrity.
• Proven ability to work independently in an on-premises support role
• Any experience with Linux operating systems and Linux Servers would be highly desirable
• Any experience or Powershell scripting would also be highly beneficial
