Systems Accountant

Are you an experienced Systems Accountant with SAP and Cognos TM1 knowledge? We're looking for a technically minded and knowledgeable individual to join a thriving finance team within a global organisation based in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. This role goes beyond a typical accounting role - you'll be involved in SAP configuration, programming and coding and ultimately streamlining workflows as well as implementing new functionality across the business.

The Role:

• Management and development of systems across the business group
• Performing reconciliations of group accounts & revenue accounts
• Responding to various internal user queries for the whole organisation regarding accounting issues
• Monitoring and fixing any issues within the system
• Programming and coding within SAP
• Data archiving of SAP system
• Performing system tasks/data extractions required for year end audit

The ideal candidate:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years' SAP experience, ideally more
• Must have a working knowledge of Cognos TM1
• Experience of programming/coding in SAP would be a big advantage
• Ability to manage own workload and work to multiple deadlines
• Happy to work in the office 4 days per week
