Software Developer - Ipswich - Fixed Term Contract

Marshall Wolfe are proud to be supporting our growing software consultancy client based in Ipswich, who are looking for a junior to mid-level Software Developer to join their team. This role is a Fixed-Term Contract until March 2026.

Whether you’re experienced in Java, C#/.NET or another modern programming language and willing to cross-train, this role offers the chance to work on a mobile application project and other development projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborating with team members and clients to gather requirements and design software solutions
• Writing clean, scalable code using Java, .NET or other modern languages
• Testing, deploying, and maintaining applications and systems
• Debugging and upgrading existing systems
• Supporting non-technical users and providing technical guidance when needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Commercial experience as a Software Developer in Java (preferred), C#/.NET or other languages)
• Experience developing native mobile applications
• Back-end experience with SQL databases
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
