Sap Finance Control Consultant

Job Title: SAP FI/CO with PS Consultant (Consultant or Senior Consultant).

Location: UK-wide, although must be flexible to travel within a remote/hybrid option.

Contract Type: Permanent

Security Clearance: Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC/DV) required

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced (Senior)SAP FI/CO with PS Consultant to join our consultancy team. The successful candidate will deliver SAP solutions across Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), and Project Systems (PS) modules, supporting complex projects for high-profile clients. This role requires a UK passport holder due to potential government projects, with the possibility of obtaining security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SAP FI/CO and PS implementations, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP finance, controlling, and project systems processes, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Support integration across SAP modules and with third-party systems.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer for client teams.
• Identify and implement system improvements, best practices, and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Assist in pre-sales activities, including proposals, client presentations, and solution design.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in SAP FI/CO with PS, ideally in consulting or complex project environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting), CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis), and PS (Project Planning, Budgeting, Reporting).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to lead workshops, deliver training, and support client engagement.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• UK passport holder with the ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC or DV).

Desirable:

• Experience in government or regulated environments.
• SAP Certification in FI/CO or PS.
• Experience with integration to other SAP modules (MM, SD, PM).
