About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global insurance company seeking a Salesforce Engineering Manager to lead and grow their Salesforce engineering capability. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong management experience across multiple technologies.
You will be responsible for driving Salesforce development and integration initiatives, ensuring best practices in architecture, coding standards, and delivery. The role also involves managing a team of engineers, collaborating with stakeholders, and overseeing technical solutions that support business-critical processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Own the technical roadmap for Salesforce and related platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
- Oversee design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and custom applications.
- Manage integrations with other enterprise systems and ensure robust CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across Salesforce and other technologies within the ecosystem.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Engineering Manager or similar leadership role.
- Strong technical background in Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, Flows, Triggers) and architecture.
- Experience managing teams across multiple technologies and platforms.
- Familiarity with Revenue Cloud and other Salesforce products highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and integration best practices.
- Previous experience in insurance or financial services preferred; alternatively, strong exposure to regulated environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect).
- Exposure to other technologies such as Java, Python, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
