The RoleAs a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and overseeing the delivery of complex, multi-cloud Salesforce solutions for a diverse client base. You'll work closely with clients, business analysts, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into scalable, best-practice technical solutions - while providing hands-on architectural leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
This role suits someone who enjoys client-facing work, has deep technical expertise across the Salesforce platform, and is comfortable mentoring and guiding development teams. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design of end-to-end Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other relevant cloudsTranslate complex business requirements into robust, scalable technical architectureOwn technical governance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring solutions align with Salesforce best practice and architectural principlesProduce and present solution design documents, data models, integration architecture, and technical roadmaps to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWork closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Developers to ensure solutions are delivered on time and to specificationIdentify risks, dependencies, and technical debt early, and provide pragmatic solutionsSupport pre-sales activities, including solution design input, scoping, and estimation for new business opportunitiesEssential Skills & ExperienceProven experience working as a Solution Architect within a Salesforce Partner, consultancy, or complex in-house environmentStrong hands-on experience across core Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud essential; Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Field Service Lightning advantageous)Deep understanding of Salesforce data modelling, security architecture, and integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools such as MuleSoft or similar)Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative development tools (Flow, Process Builder)Experience leading solution design workshops and presenting to senior stakeholdersTrack record of delivering multiple full-lifecycle Salesforce implementationsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiencesStrong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologiesWhat's on OfferSalary: 80,000 - 100,000 (dependent on experience)Hybrid working: 2 days per week in the London officeComprehensive benefits package (pension, private healthcare, life assurance)Clear career progression pathway towards Technical Architect / Principal Architect / CTAOngoing investment in Salesforce certifications and training80,000 to 100,000 GBPArchitects RoleLevel: Senior
