The Role
As the Salesforce Marketing & Data Cloud Lead, you will take ownership of the end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud & Agentforce across the global Salesforce estate.
You will play a key role in ensuring customer data is unified, actionable, and powering personalised multi-channel journeys. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, global marketing teams, technical architects, and SI partners to drive best-in-class customer engagement and data-driven marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Agentforce and Data Cloud solutions within a complex greenfield implementation.
 - Define scalable customer data strategies and ensure effective integration with Data Cloud (formerly Genie/CDP).
 - Collaborate with technical architects, developers, and marketing stakeholders to design and implement personalised customer journeys across email, SMS, push, and other channels.
 - Oversee segmentation, audience management, consent management, and real-time decisioning via Data Cloud.
 - Act as the subject matter expert for Marketing Cloud modules including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, and Interaction Studio (Personalisation).
 - Ensure data compliance and governance are embedded into marketing practices, in line with GDPR and other global regulations.
 - Liaise with global teams to drive adoption and rollout of new marketing capabilities across multiple markets.
 - Evaluate and onboard new Salesforce innovations as part of the roadmap.
 - Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure high-quality implementation delivery.
 
Skills & Experience
Required:
- Proven experience leading large-scale Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations.
 - Strong hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP), including data ingestion, modelling, and activation.
 - Solid understanding of customer data architecture, data privacy, and consent management.
 - Experience with multi-channel journey orchestration and campaign execution.
 - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in a global, cross-functional environment.
 - Ability to translate marketing goals into scalable technical solutions.
 - Experience working in agile delivery teams or a hybrid agile/waterfall model

- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Consultant, Data Cloud Consultant, Admin, or Architect-level certifications).
 - Experience within a global B2C brand, retail, or consumer-facing digital business.
 - Familiarity with other Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, or Commerce Cloud).
