Technology Business Analyst
The Business Analyst plays a key role in helping the charity improve how it works by understanding business needs, analysing processes, and supporting the effective use of technology and data. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, the role focuses on translating needs into clear requirements and helping teams deliver meaningful change that supports the charity's mission.
Key responsibilities include:
- Eliciting, analysing, and documenting business requirements using a range of techniques.
- Facilitating workshops and discussions to understand user needs and challenges.
- Mapping and analysing current and future business processes to identify improvements.
- Producing clear documentation such as requirements, process flows, user stories, and business cases.
- Acting as a bridge between operational teams, technical teams, and external partners.
- Supporting change initiatives by helping to define solutions and assess impacts on people, processes, and data.
- Contributing to data led decision making by helping define information needs and reporting requirements.
- Encouraging best practice, consistency, and continuous improvement across projects and systems.
- Strong knowledge of technology systems such as Salesforce.
This role requires strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to work in a technology agnostic way to ensure solutions are driven by business value rather than specific tools or platforms.
