Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimise brewing/ packaging /utilities equipment depending on recruiting department
  • Troubleshoot and repair high-speed automated machinery
  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance
  • Work across utilities, refrigeration systems, compressors, and production lines

Candidate Profile

Essential:

  • Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • time served
  • Experience in high-speed manufacturing or processing environments
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
  • Knowledge of PLCs, motors, sensors, and control systems
  • Strong safety awareness and compliance with safe working practices

Desirable:

  • Multi-skilled (electrical and mechanical) experience
  • Exposure to utilities, brewing, or liquid processing systems
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation

4. Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: approx. £53,928 per annum
  • Annual performance bonus: up to £2,500 (discretionary, one-off payment)
