Account Manager
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager / FCA Client Partner to own and grow our Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) account. This role combines full account ownership with a strong focus on net-new revenue growth, strategic relationship management, and long-term account expansion.
The successful candidate will bring deep experience in managing complex public sector or regulated industry accounts and a strong track record of delivering multimillion-pound revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the FCA account, ensuring revenue growth and client satisfaction
- Deliver £5M–£8M annual revenue target through account expansion and new opportunity creation
- Develop and execute strategic account growth plans
- Build senior-level relationships within FCA (CIO, Programme Directors, Procurement, etc.)
- Identify, qualify, and close net-new business opportunities
- Lead commercial discussions, bid responses, and contract negotiations
- Collaborate with delivery, pre-sales, and leadership teams to ensure successful execution
- Maintain governance and compliance aligned with UK public sector standards
Required Experience
- 10–12 years of experience in IT services / consulting / digital transformation sales
- Proven track record of managing and growing large public sector or regulated accounts
- Experience delivering £5M+ annual revenue targets
- Strong understanding of UK public sector procurement frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and commercial negotiation skills
Preferred Profile
- Prior experience working with UK regulatory bodies or financial services organizations
- Familiarity with FCA ecosystem is highly desirable
- Right to work in the UK
- Candidates based in or near Leeds preferred for stakeholder proximity
