IT Manager

Overview

This role is responsible for managing and maintaining all on-site IT systems, infrastructure, and services. As IT Manager, you will lead local IT operations, support incident resolution, oversee upgrades, and ensure systems are secure and compliant with company-wide standards. You'll also represent the site in broader IT projects and initiatives.

This is a hands-on position within a matrix structure, reporting both locally and to the wider IT infrastructure team.



Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support local IT systems, workstations, and services

  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and operational standards

  • Manage hardware and software updates, including data backup and recovery processes

  • Support crisis management efforts and coordinate incident resolution

  • Monitor system performance and implement improvement plans

  • Manage the IT budget and track expenditures

  • Act as the main point of contact for deploying IT solutions at the site

  • Lead, plan, and coordinate the local IT team's activities



What We're Looking For

  • Strong background in IT within a manufacturing or industrial setting

  • Experience with production-related systems and tools (e.g. Kanban, Andon)

  • Practical knowledge of managing complex IT environments

  • Proven team leadership and project management skills

  • Understanding of compliance, risk management, and system security

  • Ability to use data to drive decisions and improve performance

  • Degree in IT, Information Systems, or relevant industry experience
