QA Test Lead

Our client, a forward-thinking company in the technology sector, is currently seeking a Lead Platform Test Engineer to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis.

• Working closely with the wider QA and Engineering teams to continuously evolve and improve test practices.
• Mentoring teams in test frameworks, integration, API, and wider testing.
• Understanding, implementing, and leading testing strategies across all areas of testing within the team, supporting others in test framework selection.
• Validating the quality perspectives of different cross-functional requirements such as accessibility, usability, and availability.
• Conducting hands-on manual exploratory testing of the application at different layers.
• Strategising and designing test automation for swift and continuous delivery.
• Understanding and validating performance-related requirements across different application layers.
• Managing stakeholders by identifying, analysing, planning, and implementing actions to engage and build productive relationships.

• Proven experience as a quality analyst, with significant QA leadership experience.
• Experience in supporting QA Automation Frameworks to facilitate CI/CD, such as Playwright ts.
• Experience in supporting Performance Engineering and Testing to support CI/CD, such as using K6 and JMeter.
• Experience with continuous inspection tooling for code quality.
• Familiarity with Compatibility Testing practices, such as Browserstack.
• Experience in conducting Exploratory Testing and understanding its benefits.
• Experience with automated Quality reporting and dashboards.
• Experience working within a cross-functional delivery team.
• Cloud Certification is advantageous.
