Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is currently seeking experienced CAFM Developers for an interim contract role. This position involves providing critical development and support coverage across the CAFM platform while a new permanent capability is established. The role ensures continuity of service, stability of existing workflows, and the delivery of in-flight development work across the programme.

Key Responsibilities:

BAU & Continuity SupportProvide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of CAFM workflows and automationsDiagnose and resolve issues across workflows, integrations, and data flowsEnsure stability and performance of existing CAFM solutionsAct as a key escalation point for CAFM-related technical issuesDevelopment & DeliveryDesign, develop, test, and deploy CAFM workflows, triggers, and integrationsContinue delivery of in-flight development items across programme workstreams (e.g., TFM, Guarding, SCC)Translate functional requirements into system-driven automation solutionsEnsure all development meets quality, performance, and security standardsCollaboration & Programme SupportWork closely with: Business Analysts to refine requirements and process flowsTest Managers to ensure adherence to testing strategies and acceptance criteriaTechnical Leads to align with architecture and solution designProject Managers to track delivery against timelines and prioritiesProvide input into technical design discussions where requiredDocumentation & HandoverMaintain and update technical documentation for workflows, integrations, and processesEnsure clear documentation to support handover into BAU and future CAFM capability teamsCapture knowledge and lessons learned to support transition planningJob Requirements: EssentialExperience working with CAFM systems, ideally MRI Evolution and Workflow ProProven ability to support and modify existing workflow automation solutionsExperience designing, developing, testing, and deploying code across multiple environmentsStrong understanding of: Workflow automation conceptsSystem integrations and APIsSQL/database schemaAbility to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues under time pressureExperience working within Agile / Scrum environmentsDesirableBackground in software development using multiple programming languagesExperience with Visual Basic (VB) scriptingExperience working on live operational systems with BAU support responsibilityUnderstanding of enterprise platforms and system architectureAbility to quickly adapt to unfamiliar tools, platforms, and codebasesIf you are an experienced CAFM Developer seeking an interim contract role, we would love to hear from you.
