Change Manager - Automated claims

My client is seeking a Change Manager to join their team on a contract based in Southampton, UK. This role is pivotal in executing and adopting a new claims management system across multiple client functions, ensuring smooth transition and business readiness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of the change management plan, incorporating communication, training and engagement, readiness for go-live, and post go-live support activities.
  • Own the end-to-end change lifecycle, ensuring alignment with project timelines and key deliverables.
  • Deliver a coordinated training schedule across business stakeholders, aligning resources with project milestones.
  • Develop training needs analyses and matrices, and curate comprehensive training materials tailored for different stakeholders.
  • Coordinate effective training and capture feedback to support the adoption of the new system.
  • Collaborate with the claims transformation manager to address project risks/issues and develop solutions to remove blockers.
  • Provide structured post-go-live support, including hypercare coordination and issues tracking.
  • Develop and deliver a communication and engagement plan for the project, utilising appropriate channels within BAT.
Job Requirements:
  • Experience delivering business-wide change management within technology and process-enabled transformation programmes.
  • Strong capability in developing structured change management artefacts such as impact assessments, communication plans, training strategies, and readiness checklists.
  • Expertise in project and programme management best practices.
  • Proficiency in structuring and executing change management plans timely and effectively.
  • Ability to react with agility to manage project impacts and prioritise key activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership of change management across matrixed global teams.
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
  • Proactive and positive attitude, with effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Competency in Microsoft 365 tools, SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, Workflow tools.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate others outside direct control, and to engage with varied stakeholders in a global organisation.
