What You'll Be Doing

DevOps & Automation

  • Automating builds, deployments, release processes, and environment provisioning.
  • Enhancing CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with developers and software engineers.
  • Using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, and Confluence to drive efficient, repeatable workflows.
  • Championing continuous improvement and modern DevOps practices across the team.

Infrastructure Engineering

  • Planning, provisioning, configuring, and maintaining hybrid infrastructure across Windows and Linux.
  • Building and managing new virtual domain infrastructure, servers, and development environments.
  • Managing virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Nutanix.
  • Ensuring systems remain secure, resilient, and high performing through best-practice configuration and security controls.
  • Troubleshooting complex issues, delivering fixes, updates, and patches promptly.
  • Maintaining high-quality documentation, technical standards, and knowledge sharing.

Security & Collaboration

  • Reviewing infrastructure baselines to protect systems from cybersecurity threats.
  • Working closely with IT colleagues and stakeholders to support infrastructure projects and deliver clear, accurate reporting.
  • Supporting a small DevOps-focused team within a wider tech environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience in both DevOps environments.
  • Solid Windows Server expertise (Linux skills highly beneficial).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling, automation, and version control.
  • Knowledge of VMware/Nutanix and virtualised infrastructure.
  • Understanding of secure configuration, resilience, and best-practice security.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys improving systems and processes.
  • SC Clearance eligibility is essential.
