Digital Communications Specialist

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a creative and commercially minded Digital Communications Specialist to support the delivery of our digital communications strategy and enhance engagement across internal and external audiences. This is a varied role combining digital channel management, content creation, stakeholder engagement, and creative design to ensure impactful, effective, and consistent communications.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a range of digital communication channels, including intranet, websites, employee platforms, digital signage, social channels, email communications, and applications.
  • Create engaging digital content across multiple formats, including web pages, graphics, video, multimedia, and written communications.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand communication objectives and develop effective digital solutions.
  • Translate ideas into compelling user experiences through design concepts, storyboards, and digital campaigns.
  • Ensure brand consistency and quality across all digital communications and content.
  • Monitor channel performance, analyse engagement metrics, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with communications colleagues and wider business teams to align messaging and maximise communication opportunities.
  • Support business-critical communications activity, including incident and crisis communications where required.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in digital communications, content creation, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Strong writing, editing, design, and storytelling capabilities.
  • Experience managing digital platforms such as websites, intranets, social media, or content management systems.
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX), digital design principles, analytics, and multimedia content creation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a collaborative team mindset.
