A leading engineering and technology organisation operating in highly regulated and safety-critical environments is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join its growing development team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on advanced communications and electronic systems used by customers across the defence, aerospace, transportation and critical infrastructure sectors. You'll be involved throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing, integration and manufacturing support.

The Role


As an Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, testing and documentation of complex electronic systems and associated test equipment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Electronic design and development activities to support project delivery
  • Detailed circuit design and analysis
  • PCB specification and development support
  • Prototype evaluation, troubleshooting and fault finding
  • Hardware integration, verification and testing
  • Development and execution of test plans
  • Production of technical documentation and engineering reports
  • Participation in design, development and technical reviews
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Mentoring and supporting junior engineers where appropriate


What We're Looking For


Applicants should ideally hold a degree in Electronics Engineering or a related engineering discipline and possess experience in one or more of the following areas:



Essential / Desirable Experience

  • Electronic circuit design and development
  • Hardware prototyping and testing
  • Full product development lifecycle experience
  • Analogue and digital electronics
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting of complex electronic systems
  • Product verification and validation activities
  • Producing technical documentation


Advantageous Experience

  • RF engineering or communications systems
  • Communications equipment design, development or testing
  • Communications modulation techniques
  • Network technologies and communications protocols
  • Working within safety-critical or highly regulated industries
