Head of Pricing
About the Company
We are looking for an experienced Head of Pricing to define, lead, and evolve our pricing strategy across a diverse portfolio of software products. This is a high-impact role at the centre of commercial decision-making, driving strategic growth through retention, cross-sell, platform migration, and new business.
About the Role
You will act as the key point of alignment across Product, Finance, Sales, Legal, and Marketing—ensuring pricing is data-driven, market-informed, and commercially consistent. As we continue to scale as a SaaS business, you will bring structure, governance, and innovation to a critical function.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the end-to-end pricing strategy across all revenue streams (recurring, transactional, ecommerce, non-recurring and new products)
- Design and maintain a clear pricing framework, price book, and cost model to improve speed, consistency, and ease of sale
- Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment between pricing, commercial objectives, and growth strategy
- Develop pricing approaches that support platform migration and the transition to SaaS-based revenue models
- Lead the development of pricing models, packaging, bundling, and monetisation strategies aligned to customer value
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with Product, Finance, Sales, Legal, and Marketing
- Conduct market benchmarking and competitor analysis to keep pricing competitive and relevant
- Deliver price sensitivity analysis and ongoing optimisation of pricing performance
- Own pricing governance and approval processes, enabling Sales teams within clear frameworks
- Track and report on key pricing metrics (e.g. margin, discounting, price realisation, renewals, exceptions)
- Provide insight and recommendations to senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders
Qualifications
- Degree or relevant qualification in Finance, Business, or a related field
Required Skills
- 7+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, or senior pricing roles within SaaS, technology, or financial services
- Proven track record in building and delivering pricing and monetisation strategies end-to-end
- Experience with SaaS revenue models, pricing governance, and board-level reporting
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence, including C-suite engagement
- Knowledge of the general insurance market is highly desirable
