The Role

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the planning, build, and ongoing operation of our IT infrastructure. You’ll work closely with colleagues across IT and the wider business to ensure systems are secure, resilient, and fit for purpose.

This role offers the opportunity to be hands‐on, influence improvements, and support infrastructure projects end‐to‐end.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and configure new virtual domain infrastructure, servers, and development tools
• Develop and maintain backup and resilience plans to ensure business continuity
• Support the creation, testing, and maintenance of disaster recovery plans
• Maintain security and configuration baselines, ensuring systems remain secure
• Identify technical issues and implement fixes and updates promptly
• Develop and maintain security controls to protect data and infrastructure
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and knowledge bases
• Collaborate with IT colleagues on infrastructure and improvement projects
• Provide clear reports and updates to stakeholders
• Share best practice and support continuous improvement across the business

You’re a team‐oriented Infrastructure Engineer who thrives in a changing environment and enjoys solving complex problems. You’re confident communicating with stakeholders and take pride in delivering high‐quality, reliable solutions.

Essential Experience & Knowledge:

• Proven experience in infrastructure engineering within a corporate environment
• Strong experience with Windows Server environments
• Hands‐on experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Nutanix
• A proactive, resilient approach with strong problem‐solving skills

Security & Eligibility

In line with baseline security requirements, successful candidates must be eligible for SC clearance and able to provide evidence of identity and right to work in the UK.
