The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Interim Oracle Fusion Programme Director to lead a large-scale Finance Transformation programme centred on the implementation of Oracle Fusion Financials.
This is a business-critical leadership position responsible for the successful delivery of a complex enterprise-wide finance transformation, driving the modernisation of core finance processes, controls, governance and operating models through Oracle Fusion.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across business, technology and delivery partners, ensuring the programme delivers measurable business outcomes, strong stakeholder engagement and a successful transition into business-as-usual operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full accountability for the end-to-end delivery of the Oracle Fusion Financials programme.
- Lead the overall Finance Transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment to strategic business objectives.
- Establish robust programme governance, reporting and assurance frameworks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Executive stakeholders including CFO, Finance Leadership, CIO and Transformation leadership teams.
- Manage system integrator and third-party delivery partners, ensuring delivery quality and performance.
- Drive programme planning, risk management, issue resolution and dependency management across all workstreams.
- Ensure successful delivery of business change, organisational readiness, process transformation and user adoption activities.
- Oversee programme budgets, commercial commitments and benefits realisation.
- Provide clear executive-level reporting on programme status, risks and delivery performance.
Essential Experience
- Proven Programme Director experience delivering large-scale Finance Transformation programmes.
- Recent experience leading end-to-end Oracle Fusion Financials implementations with overall programme accountability.
- Significant experience managing global or enterprise-scale ERP delivery programmes.
- Strong understanding of Finance operating models, processes and controls.
- Demonstrable experience working closely with CFO organisations and senior Finance stakeholders.
- Experience managing major System Integrators and multi-vendor delivery environments.
- Excellent governance, programme controls, risk and issue management capabilities.
- Strong executive stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience delivering within complex, heavily regulated organisations.
- Finance Shared Services transformation experience.
- Target Operating Model and Finance process redesign experience.
- Experience delivering significant organisational change alongside technology implementation.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for an accomplished transformation leader who combines strong executive presence with exceptional delivery expertise.
You will have a track record of leading Oracle Fusion Financials programmes from mobilisation through to deployment, successfully navigating complex stakeholder landscapes and driving delivery across business and technology functions.
This role requires someone who has personally held Programme Director accountability for a major Oracle Fusion Financials implementation, rather than leading a specific workstream or functional area.
