Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

Our client is a dedicated data centre delivery partner, providing turnkey solutions to clients throughout Europe. Specialising in design and construction, they manage comprehensive civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical services, including commissioning. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join their expanding team in Helsinki, Finland.

• Hands-on commissioning of mechanical systems
• Quality management for on-site service and commissioning projects
• Review and execute Mechanical Commissioning protocols, including fault-finding and diagnostics
• Ensure that all project deadlines are met
• Adhere to health and safety standards while carrying out commissioning requirements
• Ensure HVAC and Mechanical services operate as per design criteria
• Witness vendor commissioning activities against approved project documentation
• Track and manage project commissioning documentation to achieve necessary sign-offs
• Conduct Commissioning Tagging processes and procedures
• Oversee day-to-day on-site commissioning operations

• Relevant certificates in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a Mechanical Trade with relevant training and experience
• Experience in a similar role, particularly in construction
• Analytical problem-solving skills and decisive action-taking capabilities
• Familiarity with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) and Quality Work Management Systems and Processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain good customer relationships with other contractors on site
