Location: Basildon (fully onsite)

Duration: 6 month contract

Rate: 73.40ph LTD (Outside IR35)

Role details:

Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Network & Systems Integration Engineer to join their team in Basildon on a contractual basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating Network Architecture for the Lab environment
• Maintaining Lab infrastructure and development areas
• Configuring systems according to Lead Systems Engineer requirements
• Supporting Trials Site activities

Job Requirements:

• Experience in IT Network and its applications within Defence & Security
• Understanding of the Open Systems Interconnection Model
• Understanding of IPv4 Addressing
• Understanding of Virtual Local Area Network configuration
• Understanding of Network Implementation and Deployment
• Understanding of Network Architecture
• Understanding of NetConf
• Understanding of Network Security (Desirable)
• Familiarity with Safety Critical Networks (Desirable)
• Knowledge of Time Sensitive Networking (Desirable)
