Project Manager
Our client, a leading retail company in the optical industry, is seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong business change experience within the retail sector, to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of multiple projects from initiation to completion
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and budget
- Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders
- Drive the implementation of best practices and continuous process improvement
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and standards
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party suppliers
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in project management, ideally within the Retail industry
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex programs within the retail sector.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Relevant certifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile, are highly desirable
