Railway Telecom Installer - Glasgow - Long Term Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Railway Telecom Installer to support testing and installation activities on railway infrastructure projects across Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled telecoms professional with rail experience to join a busy project team on a long-term contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and testing of railway telecoms assets and associated equipment.
• Supporting commissioning and testing activities across live rail projects.
• Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Working collaboratively with site teams to deliver works to programme.

Essential Requirements

• Valid PTS certification.
• Telecoms and/or electrical qualifications.
• Proven experience installing and testing telecoms equipment.
• Strong understanding of telecoms infrastructure and testing procedures.
• Ability to work safely in a rail environment.

Desirable

• Previous experience working on railway telecoms projects.
• Experience with railway communications systems, fibre, copper and associated telecom assets.

Contract Details

• Location: Glasgow
• Duration: 6-12 months
• Shifts: 6 shifts per week
• Pattern: Predominantly nights with some day shifts required
• Rate : 200 per shift
