Senior Software Development Engineer

Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking an exceptional Senior Software Development Engineer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of cutting-edge projects, applying your development skills across the full software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and test new software, adhering to industry best practices.
• Build relationships within the customer community to support business growth.
• Collaborate with other technical teams and customer service teams to ensure efficient delivery.
• Champion development practices focused on creating high-quality deliverables that delight the customer.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience in designing and developing complex software projects.
• Experience in understanding and influencing Systems Architecture and Design.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, and React, as well as experience with Source Code control systems.
• Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Familiarity with Agile Software Engineering practices such as Scrum, CI/CD, and BDD.
• Experience using Jira/Gitlab to drive development.
