Senior Systems Engineers

Our client, a renowned company in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for a 12-month contract position based in Rochester. The role requires expertise in BAE-Systems engineering and involves working fully onsite. The position is inside IR35 and requires BPSS + SC in-flight security clearance.

• Providing expert systems engineering support within the Defence & Security sector
• Leading project teams and managing system engineering tasks and deliverables
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
• Developing and implementing robust systems engineering processes and procedures
• Conducting system requirements analysis and producing detailed design specifications
• Overseeing system integration, verification, and validation activities
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
• Delivering technical reports and presentations to senior management and clients

• Extensive experience as a systems engineer within the Defence & Security sector
• Proficiency in BAE-Systems engineering methodologies and practices
• Strong understanding of systems integration, verification, and validation processes
• Experience in conducting system requirements analysis and design
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Security clearance (BPSS + SC in-flight) is mandatory
• Ability to work fully onsite in Rochester
