Server & Storage Infrastructure Engineer

```html Our client, a prestigious technology firm, is seeking a Server & Storage Infrastructure Engineer to join their dedicated IT Services team. Our client is renowned for creating sustainable solutions, transforming global infrastructure and energy systems, and delivering high-quality project management services across multiple sectors including Engineering Services, Nuclear, and Operations & Maintenance.

• Reporting to the Infrastructure Solutions Manager, providing design and delivery solutions.
• Working within the IT Services sector, focussing on IT Design and L3 support.
• Embracing and developing the latest technologies for technical solutions to drive business success.
• Delivering technical projects with a focus on Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure, HPE storage technologies, Microsoft Server operating systems, and Windows security technologies.

Specific tasks include:

• Technical Leadership.
• Design (HLD/LLD), implementation, and documentation.
• Requirements gathering and documentation.
• Identifying suitable solutions for present and future requirements.
• Implementation and testing.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Meeting project deadlines with confidence and professionalism.

Successful candidates will have:

• L2/L3 level of experience with Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure.
• Design and implementation skills for Nutanix HCI.
• Understanding of HPE Enterprise server & storage experience platforms.
• Knowledge of Veeam Backup and Replication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Server technologies including domain services.
• Understanding of Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and core networking fundamentals.

Additionally, desirable skills include:

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft SCOM.
• Configuring and hardening server management tooling like iDRAC, iLO, OneView.
• Nutanix/Microsoft certification or equivalent experience.
