Simulation Project Lead - Bristol

Our client, a leading defence organisation, is currently seeking a Simulation Project Lead to join their innovative team. This permanent position is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of distributed simulation in weapon system design and development.

• Leading the delivery and development of simulation components for weapon systems using an agile methodology
• Integrating real products, models, and synthetic environments to provide visualisation, demonstrations, verification & validation, and training capabilities
• Guiding a team of engineers and leveraging the advancement of synthetic environments to enable systems exploration and development
• Delivering demonstrators, system simulators, emulators, and training simulators
• Utilising IEEE and military standards in various environments and visualisation tools
• Developing real-time software components to simulate weapon systems, including hardware integration

• Experience in delivering software and hardware solutions for simulated and synthetic environments
• Proficiency in project definition and management using agile principles
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Ability to influence and manage stakeholders
• Capacity to lead and manage multidisciplined teams
• Strong ability to manage requirements and change
• Proactive approach to managing and mitigating risks
