Our client is seeking a UAT Lead to support technology transformation and system implementation programmes on a contract basis. The role will lead end-to-end User Acceptance Testing, ensuring business requirements are met, testing outcomes are clearly evidenced and solutions are ready for deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead UAT planning, governance and execution from preparation through to closureCoordinate the development of test scenarios, scripts and business test dataManage UAT schedules, resources and tester readinessMonitor test progress, coverage, defects, risks and dependenciesFacilitate stakeholder engagement, testing meetings and status reportingCoordinate defect triage and resolution with functional and technical teamsEnsure test evidence is captured and maintained within agreed testing toolsDrive business acceptance, sign-off and go-live readiness, producing closure reports and deployment recommendationsKey Deliverables: UAT strategy and test planTest scenarios, scripts and business test dataUAT status updates and defect reportsComplete and accurate test evidence repositoryUAT closure reportBusiness sign-off and go-live readiness recommendationJob Requirements: Experience leading UAT for large transformation or system implementation programmesStrong IT testing knowledge, including business process testing and defect managementExperience using test management tools such as Azure DevOps, ALM or JIRAExcellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skillsStrong planning, governance, reporting and organisational capabilitiesUnderstanding of release readiness, business acceptance and deployment processesSuccess Measures: UAT is completed on schedule and planned test coverage is achievedCritical defects are resolved before deploymentTimely business sign-off is obtainedSuccessful transition to go-live is achieved with minimal business disruptionIf you are an experienced UAT Lead with strong IT testing, stakeholder management and governance skills, apply now to support the successful delivery of a major technology programme.
