Application Support Engineer
Overview
A T24 Application Support Operations Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of the core banking system, T24. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, implementing changes, and maintaining system stability.
Key Responsibilities
Application Support:
- Provide day-to-day support for the T24 core banking application.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential problems.
Operations:
- Execute, monitor and troubleshoot daily close of business processes.
- Generate required reports and perform data analysis.
- Manage user access and security permissions.
- Maintain system documentation and procedures.
Development and Customization:
- Develop and maintain T24 routines and programs.
- Design and implement T24 versions and inquiries.
- Create reports as per business requirements.
Integration:
- Support and implement Temenos Web Services Integration.
- Manage RESTful web services and data migration.
Problem Resolution:
- Provide T24 support to operators during critical business hours.
- Analyze and resolve escalated issues.
- Adhere to incident management processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in T24 Application Support
- Strong understanding of T24 architecture and modules (AC, FT, IC, MM, AA etc.)
- Proficiency in T24 development tools and languages.
- Experience in Temenos R16 with TAFC, TAFJ, InfoBasic exposure.
- Experience in database management (Oracle).
- Knowledge of web services and integration technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills
- Experience in financial services industry.
- Knowledge of other banking applications and systems.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in system upgrades and implementations.
- Provide training to users on T24 functionalities
