System Engineer Intune Administrator - Software Delivery

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Apply monthly security updates and patches to endpoints using Microsoft Intune in alignment with organizational policies.

2. Design, develop, test and deploy custom software packages based on client or departmental requirements

3. Provide high-level operational support on a 24/7 basis, acting as escalation for endpoint-related issues

4. Architect and refine operational processes to support and maintain an enterprise environment of 50,000+ Entra ID-joined endpoints.

5. Manage timely deployment of patches, critical updates and service packs in compliance with Information Security standards

6. Create and maintain systems documentation, including standard operating procedures and operational playbooks

7. Conduct comprehensive compliance assessments to ensure endpoint configurations meet Maximus Information Security policies.

8. Collaborate weekly with cross-functional IT teams to ensure cohesive endpoint management and strategic alignment.

9. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and Intune-based solutions for automated software installations, updates and removals.

10. Ensure proper configuration, optimisation and ongoing maintenance of the Microsoft Intune environment

11. Partner with network teams to troubleshoot and resolve content distribution and communication issues

12. Maintain regular communication with support teams regarding workstation management, issue resolution, and application performance.

13. Enforce and uphold standards for application packaging, desktop configurations, and operating system patching.

14. Implement and support security policies, respond to audit requests and resolve permission-related issues

15. Collaborate with systems administrators to enhance operational efficiency and improve infrastructure standards and procedures.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job

• Intermediate level experience troubleshooting technical issues and diagnosing root cause of issue

• Significant Intune knowledge and experience in managing a large-scale Enterprise environment with multiple Domains.
