Identity Management (IAM) Engineer | 6-Month Temp-to-Perm

Location: Cambridge (4 days per week on-site)Contract: 6 months initially - Temp-to-Perm opportunity Rate: £400/day (Inside IR35)Tech Stack: Entra ID (Azure Active Directory - Cloud-Only) | Apple Device Integration

We’re partnering with a leading organisation in Cambridge looking to bring in a passionate and technically curious IAM Engineer to join their infrastructure and security team.

This is an exciting 6-month temp-to-perm opportunity where you'll work in a fully cloud-native identity environment using Azure AD / Entra ID and also support Apple device management and integration across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing and evolving the organisation’s cloud-first identity platform (Azure AD / Entra ID)
• Implementing IAM best practices, automation, and conditional access policies
• Supporting Apple/macOS device authentication and access integration
• Troubleshooting identity and access issues, improving user experience
• Working cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, and end-user computing teams

What We’re Looking For:

• Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory / Entra ID
• Familiarity with Apple devices in enterprise environments (macOS authentication, MDM, etc.)
• Understanding of IAM principles, authentication protocols, and access controls
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a collaborative approach
• On-site availability in Cambridge (4 days/week)
• Mid to Senior-level preferred - but we’re open to training and supporting the right person
