The Role
In this role, the successful Senior Product Owner will define and drive the vision for artificial intelligence across the organisation. You’ll work at the intersection of product, data, engineering, and operations to identify high-impact opportunities and deliver measurable value.
Key responsibilities:
• Own and evolve the AI product strategy and roadmap, aligned to customer needs and business goals • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data, and operations) to explore and deliver AI-driven solutions • Identify and implement opportunities to improve areas such as personalisation, search, CRM, customer support, and operational efficiency • Lead discovery, prioritisation, and delivery of initiatives, ensuring a clear understanding of value, effort, and return on investment • Guide a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes while supporting responsible and ethical AI adoption • Define and track success metrics (e.g. conversion, retention, customer satisfaction, efficiency, cost-to-serve) to inform decision-making • Translate complex or ambiguous requirements into clear, outcome-focused deliverables supported by data and experimentation • Build strong alignment across stakeholders through effective communication and storytelling

• A strong commercial mindset, balancing customer outcomes with business priorities and long-term strategy • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and align diverse teams around shared objectives • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex or technical topics (including AI) for a range of audiences • High level of data literacy, using metrics and experimentation to guide decisions • Confidence working in ambiguous environments and focusing on delivering meaningful outcomes • A collaborative and inclusive leadership style that builds trust and momentum across teams
Desirable Experience
• Experience delivering AI-driven products, including predictive or generative use cases • Familiarity with machine learning workflows such as experimentation, evaluation, and monitoring • Experience making build vs. buy decisions for technology solutions • Understanding of responsible AI principles, particularly in regulated environments • Experience influencing senior stakeholders through structured, data-led storytelling
