£50,000 base + bonus

This is the first QA hire in a growing financial SaaS business. You will define how manual testing runs across the platform and take full ownership of quality before release.

You sit within a senior engineering team working across .NET and React. Developers handle unit testing. You focus purely on manual testing and real system behaviour.

You test edge cases, validate risk areas, and control release readiness.

Your work covers

• End to end manual testing ownership
• Functional, exploratory and regression testing
• API testing across REST and GraphQL
• SQL validation across live data
• Close collaboration with developers and technical BA on requirements

You bring

• Commercial manual QA experience
• Strong exploratory testing mindset
• Confidence working as the only QA in a team
• SQL and API testing experience
• Self-sufficient approach with clear ownership

Package

• £50,000 base plus bonus
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays plus birthday off
• Monthly office visit in Manchester
• Fully remote working model
