Senior DevOps Engineer (SC Cleared) - Government Digital Programme

£450 per day inside IR35 - Fully Remote

Mayfleet is recruiting SC cleared Senior DevOps Engineers for a major UK government digital programme.

You'll be joining an established delivery team building and running large-scale cloud data services on AWS.

What we need:

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services
  • Terraform for infrastructure as code
  • Experience supporting Apache Spark workloads
  • Comfortable working in agile delivery teams alongside developers, data engineers and testers

preferable:

  • GitLab CI/CD and Docker
  • Exposure to data platforms or big data environments
  • Previous UK government or public sector delivery

The essentials:

  • Active SC clearance
  • Flexible on location, but willing to travel to Newcastle, very occasionally when required
  • Available at short notice preferred
